Frequently Asked Questions

How early should I show up?

Classes are tightly scheduled.  It is good to arrive 10 minutes early.  If a student arrives late, the session will still end on time to be fair to the next student.

How does the number of weeks in a month affect the price?

Whether there are 4 weeks in a month, or 5, the price is the same.  They balance out.  If a new student starts in the middle of a month, the 1st month is normal price, the 2nd month is "pro-rated", and the following months are normal price.

Can I choose the next song to learn?

In a word... possibly.  While the instructor does have a plan for the student, which includes selected music, there may be some flexibility.  The student's current abilities, determination, practice habits, and availability of sheet music will determine success.

Can two students learn during the same session?

Every student has a different skill level.  Putting two together causes an imbalance.  While one might be pushed to excel, the other might hinder.  The result would be frustration for both.  So to allow each student to proceed as quickly as possible, only one student participates per session.
